Newham Respect meeting - "End child poverty now!"
Newham Respect is holding a public meeting on child poverty, on Thursday 17 April at 7.30pm, in Canning Town, with George Galloway and Hanif Abdulmuhit.

Also speaking will be Carole Swords, a local housing campaigner, and Nadir Ahmed, an activist from Tower Hamlets.

Carole, Hanif and George are all standing for Respect in the London Assembly elections on 1st May. Come along and discuss child poverty, an issue that has blighted the east end for too long.

The meeting is at the Kier Hardie Methodist Church Hall, Plymouth Road, London E16 - nearest tube/DLR is Canning Town. Click here for a map.
