60,000 people hear the message: Stop the BNP
Somewhere between 50,000 and 60,000 people turned out for the Love Music, Hate Racism Carnival on Sunday, a magnificent attendance. Tony Benn, Ken Livingstone, Derek Simpson and Matt Wrack were amongst the speakers.

There was an excellent atmosphere. The message was clear. We need to get the biggest turnout of voters possible to make it as difficult as possible for the BNP to get elected. There is a further excellent Hope Not Hate gig at the Brixton Academy on Wednesday with the Alabama Three, the legendary Misty in Roots, the Levellers and Tom Robinson, with Tony Benn speaking. Doors open 7.30pm
