First Solution frustration |
George Galloway today expressed his frustration, on behalf of the
First Solution creditors, that the government was failing to cooperate
fully with the liquidators appointed by the creditors just before
Christmas.
"The government took First Solution over in July promising to act on
behalf of the creditors. For six months they did nothing apart from
conclude a side deal with the directors," said George Galloway today,
whilst out campaiging for the London Assembly elections.
"Now many
creditors have contacted me because the government says they will not
provide the liquidators with the report from the Companies
Investigation Branch unless they are pad £13,000.
"This really is a disgrace and I will be writing to ministers Stephen
Timms and Kitty Ussher in the morning to demand an urgent meeting.
Creditors have waited long enbough to get to the truth of the matter
and to get their money back."
